Cheat on someone, committed an adultery, Extramarital affair, infidelity.
需要注意的是:have an affair or cheat on someone,不一定是指婚内行为,而“committed an adultery”或 “extramarital affair”则是指婚内行为。

Prenuptial [prɪ(ː)’nʌpʃəl] agreementA prenuptial agreement is a private agreement between a couple signed before they get married which clarifies the division of their assets in the event of divorce or death. Each state has its own laws regarding the enforcement and validity of prenuptial agreements.

Take no prisonersTo be very determined and not care about other people’s feelings when trying to achieve something. 所以,“no prisoners would be taken” 可以理解为“没人会选择退让 ”)

If someone takes no prisoners or does not take any prisoners when they are carrying out a plan or an action, they do it in a very forceful and determined way, without caring if they harm or upset other people. Actually, this phrase is originated from a phrase used in wars. When a captain shouts “Take no prisoners!” He means, kill all of those that are captured. Back in the late 19th century, when wars were won either they took their enemies as slaves back to their own country or they kill them.

Suspect someone of doing sth(怀疑某人做某事)

Narrator: Suburbia is a battle ground,

——>> an arena for all forms of domestic combat.

——>> Husbands clash with wives,

——>> parents cross swords with children.

——>> But the bloodiest battles often involve women

——>> and their mothers-in-law.

——>> The war for control of Carlos began the night he proposed,

——>> and Gabrielle had been losing ground to Juanita ever since.

——>> From the prenuptial agreement which she reluctantly signed…

——>> to the selection of wedding music she despised…

——>> to the color of the house paint she hadn’t wanted,

——>> Gabrielle had suffered one defeat after another.

——>> And now that Juanita suspected her

——>> daughter-in-law of having an affair,

——>> it had become increasingly apparent, in this war…

——>> No prisoners would be taken.
